BPCL launched 6 Highway Corridors for Fast-Charging of EVs in Pune

To address the range anxiety of electric vehicle owners, BPCL launched 6 Highway Corridors for Fast-Charging of EVs in Pune, covering more than 1,200 kilometres one way combined stretch.
These six highway corridors are -
Pune-Ahmednagar-Aurangabad - 240 KMs
Pune-Solapur - 250 KMs
Pune- Nashik - 200 KMs
Pune-Kolhapur - 225 KMs
Mumbai- Nashik - 200KMs
Nashik- Shirdi - 90 KMs
Sanjeev Agrawal, Executive Director (Retail Engineering & Automation), inaugurated these Fast EV Charging Corridors in presence of Subhankar Sen, Chief General Manager (Retail Initiatives & Brand), S. Abbas Akhtar, CGM (Brand & PR), Akshay Wadhwa, Head Retail (West), Rakesh Kumar Sinha, State Head (Retail) Maharashtra & Goa, other officials from BPCL and EV manufacturers representatives.
So far, we have converted 25 highway corridors into electric and work on 100 more corridors is in progress.
