KR has also installed five fully automatic, on-line and computerised Ambient Air Quality Monitoring Stations for regular monitoring of ambient air quality. Three continuous ambient air quality monitoring stations (AAQMS) are installed at our Shore Tank Farm area also for proper monitoring of the ambient air quality in that area. In addition to the Ambient Air Quality Reports, manual sampling of ambient air periodically undertaken to check quality of air in reference to online meters. The emissions from each stack are monitored on a continuous basis by our engineers and the online meters are cross checked for its accuracy every month by manual sampling.
