A healthy population is a great asset and Bina Refinery is earnestly committed to the cause of community health through various initiatives to improve health and hygiene condition and create awareness among villagers.
 

This includes providing basic healthcare services, creation of infrastructural facilities to cater the needy and underprivileged population.

VK-BORL Hospital

VK-BORL Hospital is a modern hospital with 30 beds, laboratory, pharmacy, 24-hour emergency, X ray facilities. Every year, around 80% of the patients treated are from neighbouring areas. Special camps are also conducted periodically. Hospital and health services have immensely benefitted the local population.

Swasthya Sewa Yojana

Free medical assistance is provided to below mentioned population from nearby villages to create an access to healthcare for the underprivileged community:

  • Senior citizens – Age 55 & above
  • Pregnant women (up to 2 pregnancy)
  • Children below 10 years of age
  • Below Poverty Line (BPL)
  • Mobile Medical Van - provides primary healthcare services at the doorstep of the nearby villagers.

Apart from the above mentioned programmes, special health camps are periodically conducted in nearby Govt. Schools & villages.

Support in Fight Against COVID-19

Bina Refinery has actively supported measures to combat the COVID-19 pandemic by working in tandem with local Govt. authorities and doing our best to protect our communities and fellow countrymen. Initiatives included providing medical equipment, PPE kits, contribution in PM CARES FUND.

Bina Refinery extended support by supplying oxygen & water to 200 bed COVID-19 Hospital setup by Govt. of Madhya Pradesh nearby Refinery and also setting up of oxygen bottling & refilling plant.

Vaccination drive in progress at VK-BORL Hospital to vaccinate the employees & their families, stakeholders and nearby villagers.

Hygiene & Sanitation Program

Toilets constructed in around 50 Govt. Schools in Sagar region. Various activities are conducted under Swachh Pakhwada, Swachhata Hi Seva, Gandegi Mukt Bharat to promote hygiene practices of nearby population.
